I cannot install this extension in my firefox

Sadly, this extension cannot be used with Firefox 3, which won’t install it, because this extension (or its site) does not allow secure updates.

Any chance this will be fixed?

Word Count [de] (0.4) doesn’t work with the Add-on “Link Checker [de] (0.6.1)”.
I’m using WinXP, Firefox 2.0.0.1 (German).

Definitely needs the ability to count words within a text entry field.

For example, when writing letters in Gmail, or comments on a blog.

Please can you add the version number to the file name? e.g. wordcount-0.3.xpi

This is fast becoming the de facto standard for FF extensions.
