BugMeNot is being worked on, I promise

Filed under: general — Eric @ 5:37 pm

I know it’s not working. Oh dear lord, how I know that. BugMeNot will be back in commission soon, I swear. I’ll release all the details with the changes within this next week. Stay tuned, I’ll keep you posted. Pinky swear.

Happy New Year, by the way.

Thanks you friend, bugmenot is one of the most useful web site in all the Internet, and the firefox extension just make it greater. I hope it is online again soon, thanks!!

    9. Smoje Says:

Anybody knows why Bugmenot don’t works now? This morning works perfectly but now???

    10. bh Says:

      http://www.bugmenot.com is down. That’s why the extension doesn’t work…

    11. bugging me, not Says:

The domain is being parked by godaddy now???

      wow…

    12. Bojacob Says:

Much thanks sir :) We are hopelessly addicted to your extension.

hm, why did that sound bad.

Oh and the bugmenot website is working ok for me, wonder what issues you guys are having.

    13. Guy Says:

Why isn’t bugmenot not on the official firefox extensions website?

    14. Eric Says:

I host all of my extensions here and only here because it’s easier for me to maintain them. The official site is a pain in the ass to use, and I prefer doing things the easy way.

    15. Junkie Says:

Any word on the fix? To say we’re desperate is an understatement. Is there any other extension that does similar?

    16. DonKult Says:

@Junkie: you can use the official bookmarklet for easy access Bugmenot, but this Bookmarklet only open a PopUp with the Accountinformations in it, no auto-fillin. So i hope Eric make the BugMeNot-Extension working again as soon as possible. ~ Good code needs some time :)

Other Extensions do this? mmhh. I read somewhere Roboform can do this, but i am not sure and i don’t want to test it, because of the Roboform-projectmanagment (for example: Free & Pro-Version) …

    17. Eric Says:

The fix is coming extremely soon, I swear. The functionality is already working on this bit of code I have, so just a few more minor implements and it will be done. There will be a big post about it and we’ll have cake and everything, it will be super.

    18. Chris Says:

Hope you get it working soon – Thanks for your efforts! I definitely feel the pain without it…

    19. mike Says:

Gosh, as much as I love it, it’s still not working in Firefox. Site seems up, but the plugin does not work. just FYI (PS also like the tip for the wireless router bug)

    20. Zzedar Says:

      Dude, read before posting.

    21. Chris Says:

      I love it too..it’s missed!
