Not for me. It pulls in and dumps name and password on the same line along with some of the BMN text e.g.: “Did this work for you?”

BTW, using NS7.2 with Win2k so it’s probably my setup. I did see all the nifty right click choices for 2nd try etc

Thanks for all your efforts on this. I do love it.

    2. Webb Says:

I uninstalled the old extension first. It works great at NYTimes and WashingtonPost (WP took 2 attempts).

      Thank you, Eric.
      Thank you, Eric.
      Thank you, Eric!

Break out the cake. I’m posting this on every Forum I can find.

    3. Wish-A-Lot Says:

Unfortunately this release appears not working fine for me yet… :(

Well, I’m trying it on a machine running FireFox 1.5 pt_BR (“Portuguese Brazil”) on Win XP Pro pt_BR. I also tried uninstalling this BMN extension and reinstalling it again… didnt work so far

For instance when trying to get access to this site http://www.correiodopovo.com.br/ the plugin is showing me an alert “Unable to locate login form!” — aparentely it’s occuring because the form is embedded in an HTML “FRAME” element.

This very same site worked fine with BMN plugin in its earlier version (I think 0.8 and earlier), together with FF 1.0.7

Well, anyway BMN extension is a worthwhile product! Hope my feedback can help improve it even more. Congratulations for your work.

That is very good feedback. Anyone else, please feel free to chime in. Everything you say will be noted and attempted if found to be sound advice.

    5. BugMeNot123 Says:

1.0 works great for me but I kind of prefer having the bugmenot account logins list popup in a window so i can see and choose what logins to use instead of autofilling and cycling between invalid accounts…

I’ll stick with 0.9 for now since it does just that. The popup windows seems a little more convenient for me if the site happened to have a lot of invalid accounts to go through. That way I can see which accounts do work. Adding that option back would be great.

      Thanks dude. Peace.

    6. Webb Says:

Same problem as Wish-a-Lot at Time.com.

“Unable to locate login form!” (both boxes).

      Works great at MiamiHerald.com.

    7. FatBaby Says:

It seems to be working at most of the sites I have tried, but when trying a site like http://www.imdb.com, nothing seems to happen.

    8. Dmytri Kleiner Says:

Hello Everyone, thanks for the comments. Eric and I will make sure all bugs are fixed promptly.

Eric can you please email me at dk AT kleiner-weise DOT de, thanks!

    9. Nanol Says:

Seems fine but am I right in thinking that the default prefs are to auto submit on every site you go to, and loop through every valid account? If that’s the case it seems like a receipe for getting accounts blocked much quicker, since the number of logins to each site will go through the roof!

    10. Dmytri Kleiner Says:

Nanol, I’m not sure as I am new to the bugmenot community, but it only loops until it gets a successful login, which is probably what the user would do even if it where manual. If a user is trying to access a site wouldn’t the automatically try the next login when the first one fails?

    11. Ant Says:

I couldn’t upgrade my old version in Linux/Debian. It kept giving me the old version! I had to remove the old one and install v1.0 to work.

    12. Barry Says:

Not working for me on Firefox 1.5….I tried 2 of the most popular sites on the net & get “No accounts found for this site, if you create one please submit it to bugmenot.com” . Suggestions?

    13. Dmytri Kleiner Says:

      Barry, which two sites?

    14. Eric Says:

Version 1.1 is out with a lot of bug fixes.

    15. Barry Says:

Thanks Dmytri….I’ve installed 1.2 today after removing 1.0 & get the same results. Tested against nytimes.com & commercialappeal.com, both of which worked before Firefox 1.5. Strange thing is that I installed 1.2 at my office & it works fine there?? Do I need to do a clean uninstall here at home?

      Thanks

    16. Dmytri Kleiner Says:

Barry, perhaps I am blind but I can’t find the login form to commercialappeal.com. nytimes.com was one of my testing sites, and it certainly works. Regarding installing/uninstalling, Eric would know more about that that I do, perhaps clearing your cookies for bugmenot.com and the site you are trying to access would help too.

      Cheers
