Always Remember Password now working properly
Reader Kevin Seidel has submitted a working overlay file for Always Remember Password. I’ll update the version number later this weekend, but for now, the one posted is working just dandy so far.
Thanks, Kevin!

Using loadURI to load javascript URL is a bad idea. If you have NoScript installed, you have to allow javascript on the site or your extension will not work on that site. You should use this code instead:
var df, dfe, i, j, x, y;
df = content.document.forms;
for(i = 0; i

your extension works fine most of the time, but my Yahoo mail account just stopped loading my ID & Pswd yesterday. no reason given, and i’m not a coder, so i cant look into this myself. has anyone else lost function out of the blue? Thanks, Movermike…

Had to disable “Always Remember Password” to be able to sign-in at http://www.ask.com (“MyStuff”). The password isn’t transmitted correctly to the server. Shouldn’t the extension have a _blacklist_? I’ll use the bookmarklet solution until this problem gets fixed.

Hi
muyo says: it doesnt work with FF 2.0 . This is korrect, i think it is only a little mistake, because if you set the cursur in the loginfield and reload the site , than login and pass are filled in. The extension did not locate the loginfield.
Please correct this, it is a great extension, that i don`t want to miss.
Thanks
Jojo

I’m not super computer literate, but I am learning so please be patient. I downloaded this tool to my firefox 5.0 and it shows up under the extensions, but I don’t know how to make it work. I have several yahoo and hotmail email accounts that I use for different ID’s on eBay and Amazon and would like the passwords to be remembered by firefox so that I don’t have to look for my paper list and type them in manually every time. With this extension can this be done?

Version 0.6 fixes the problem I reported in post #10. Login to Ask.com (MyStuff) now works; password is transmitted correctly to server.
Thanks!
