How do I install an extension? I clicked on the link but nothing happened.
After you click on the link with Mozilla Firefox, a bar at the top of the screen may pop up, stating that Firefox has prevented this site from installing software on your computer. Click on the Edit Options... button, which will take you to a menu. These are the sites that are trusted to perform installations. Add this site to your list by clicking “Allow”, then click “Ok”. Try clicking the link again and then say “Install Now” to the installation prompt after the timer has counted down.
I can’t uninstall this extension.

Somebody told me that I can back up bookmarks in my profile directory. I can’t find it.
Your profile directory is located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\ Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxx.default
If you can’t see your Application Data folder, then you need to turn on the option to view hidden folders. In Windows Explorer, go to Tools » Folder Options » View and select “Show Hidden Files and Folders”.
A fast way to navigate to this directory is to go to Start » Run » and type in %appdata%
Some common files that are stored there are your bookmarks, cookies, history, form entries, and passwords.
This extension I downloaded doesn’t work on this page / in my browser.
If something doesn’t work, I’ll try and improve it. The best way of letting me know is to post a comment in the respective extension’s post.
All of these extensions have been tested with current stable Firefox releases, and a few have been tested in Mozilla and Netscape. I develop for Windows because that is what I have. If it runs in Unix or OS X, then that is great, but it’s probably a happy coincidence.

I wish. To be honest, I’m not a programmer by day, this is just something I do for fun. I know enough javascript to scrape by, but I’ve had a lot of help from random people with far more knowledge than I have. I’d suggest looking at rentacoder.com.
