Allow Right-Click
Defeat web sites’ right-click prevention scripts. This is not 100% effective on all web sites, such as ones that may use a body OnLoad method, but it will make web surfing just a little more hassle-free.
For maximum benefit, use Firefox’s Javascript context menu handling along with this extension. This will provide a more flexible way of allowing you to use your context menu. To enable it, go to Tools » Options » Web Features » Advanced » and uncheck "Disable or replace context menus".
Install Allow Right-Click 0.3
(Size: 15kb Release Date: October 30th 2005)
Tested on Firebird 0.7, Firefox 0.8 - 1.5b1, Flock developer preview, Mozilla 1.6, 1.7b and Netscape 7.1.

Just installed this and restarted the browser (Firefox 1.0). The extension seems patchy on what it chooses to disable. I can get this site: http://www.lemon-monkey.com/gallery/ to allow right click immediately after opening a page, and for only one click. After that, right click is disabled completely.

You just reminded me to suggest using Firefox’s built-in behavior to help. I’ve added that to the original post.
You’re right, there are still some sites that can annoy you with no-right-click scripts, but this extension will drastically cut-down on the amount that will work against you.

Hi,
Here’s a webpage that seems to have defeated your extension.
http://www.weirdspace.dk/Alan%20Moore/Walter%20Joseph%20Kovacs.htm
Either that, or the extension is broken with Firefox 1.0.3.
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050421 Firefox/1.0.3 StumbleUpon/1.9993 (Debian package 1.0.3-2)

I’ve tried it on every page mentioned, and it works for me. Remember to set Firefox’s native javascript handling as mentioned in the initial post.

The Weather Underground web site has a feature that allows you to click/drag to create a rectangle and zoom in when viewing regional radar. It works very well in Firefox, but your extension causes it to stop working. Just wanted to give a heads-up.
Thanks,
Darren
